3 and 4 Year Old Admissions
All 3 and 4-year-old children are entitled to 15 hours of funded (free) education subject to availability and our Admissions Policy.
To register your child at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and Nursery, please complete the 3 & 4 Year old Admission Enquiry Form, or call us on 0151 709 1782.
Your child’s nursery place can be reserved any time prior to their 3rd birthday. To find out more about our school please visit our Nursery Class Page. You can also ring the school and make an appointment to look around. We offer 15 hours free education taken over mornings or afternoons.
The hours are as follows:
Mornings – 8.45am – 12:00pm (Lunch is included in the morning session).
or
Afternoons – 12.00pm – 3.15pm (We ask that children have had something to eat before they arrive – there will be snack time in the afternoon session).

Children are admitted following their 3rd birthday and ensuring that they are toilet trained. There is a programme of settling sessions in place for children when they start and sessions are discussed with parents to ensure the best start to Nursery life. Places are limited, please discuss availability with the Early Years Lead.
If you are eligible for an extra 15 hours, please visit https://www.gov.uk/free-childcare-if-working/apply-for-free-childcare-if-youre-working to receive a 30 hours funding code that will need to be given to school. This needs updating 3 times a year to ensure that you are still eligible.
