Mission Statement & Aims
This is our school.
Together we worship; Together we learn; Together we belong.
With the love of God, our dreams and ambitions come true.
Christ-Centred Aim
CHRIST-CENTRED AIM
To live out the teachings of Christ in all that we do, growing together in faith, love and service. We aim to help every child recognise that they are precious to God, develop Gospel values, and become kind, respectful and compassionate individuals who use their gifts to serve others.
How we live our mission:
Together we worship through prayer, liturgy and reflection, placing Christ at the centre of school life. We encourage children to show love, forgiveness, respect and kindness in their daily actions so that our faith is evident in all that we do.
Community Aim
COMMUNITY AIM
To create a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing community where everyone belongs. We aim to ensure that all children, families and staff feel valued, supported and respected, celebrating
diversity and working together for the common good.
How we live our mission:
Together we belong by building strong relationships, supporting one another and fostering a culture of respect, kindness and inclusion. We work in partnership with parents, carers, the parish and the wider community so that every child feels safe, valued and able to flourish.
Education Aim
EDUCATION AIM
To provide an ambitious, inspiring and inclusive education that enables every child to flourish. We aim to develop confident communicators, resilient learners and creative thinkers who achieve their full potential and are equipped with the knowledge, skills and aspirations to fulfil their dreams and ambitions.
How we live our mission:
Together we learn through a rich and engaging curriculum that nurtures curiosity, creativity and resilience. We have high expectations for all, remove barriers to learning, and provide opportunities for every child to discover their talents, achieve success and realise their God-given potential.
School of Sanctuary
WE ARE A SCHOOL OF SANCTUARY
As a proud School of Sanctuary, we are committed to being a place of safety, welcome and belonging for everyone. We celebrate the richness of different cultures, backgrounds, faiths and experiences, ensuring that every member of our school community is treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
How we live our mission:
We welcome all who join our school family, recognising that everyone has a unique story and contribution to make. Through education, understanding and acts of kindness, we encourage our children to be courageous advocates for inclusion, justice and hospitality, ensuring that all people feel accepted, valued and able to belong. We strive to make a difference in selecting charities to support in order to help them see how our prayers and actions ripple out locally, nationally and globally for example:
The Nugent Care Society supports children locally.
Our support of Kensington Fields Community Centre supports children locally.
Cafod supports children globally.
Our Harvest Festival always supports locally.
The Poppy appeal supports nationally.
The Alder Hey Hospital fundraising supports locally and nationally.
Our choir helps people locally and partaking in the signing choir helps raise awareness nationally and for the NSPCC nationally
Our Mission in Action
